Jehovah is a name of relationship between the true God and His covenant people and, when used, emphasizes God?s holiness, hatred of sin, and love of sinners. C. Jehovah is the NAME which distinguishes Jehovah from all false gods. D. Stated in English Bibles as ?LORD? because Jews were forbidden to speak the name YHWH. II. OTHER NAMES A. Eloheim. Strong One. Is a plural of majesty and may refer to the Trinity. Used of the true God and false gods. B. Adonas. Lord. Indicates a master-servant relationship. Used of the true God and false gods. III.
